The Mighty Bluebirds added Equestrian to their complex in 2015. Here, kids learn the value of caring for an animal while also learning how to ride. Equestrian is a sport that requires you to not only manage yourself as a competitor but to depend on an animal as well.

Christy has been riding since the age of 6, and teaching, training, managing, and show coaching for over 25 years. Christy Day has started and marketed many successful jumping horses, and has taught many, many successful hunter/jumper students. No sport teaches more about life if you love horses! Providing a loving, positive experience which includes a supportive group of riders and parents. Riding can be as relaxing or competitive as you want it to be! Fees are within the market and situational.

Since a young age Paula’s passion has been combined training/eventing. She has been instructing and developing riders and their horses since 1989. Specifically, she has helped several students develop and compete successfully in the NAYRCH over the years, and she has personally competed at the One-Star* level. The best teachers are first and foremost students, so Paula continues to attend clinics and ICP workshops to improve her riding and teaching skills. Above all, her top priority remains teaching and learning correct communication and balance skills for the horse and rider of all disciplines, otherwise known as horsemanship! Paula loves watching her students develop with their horses and to see the influence that horses have on people.
