The Mighty Bluebird Black team got back to their winning tournament ways by winning the Ozark Spring Classic on April 21st and 22nd, 2007. The Bluebirds won their first game against AR Comets 94 Gold 5-0; they then won their next game 4-0 over the TSC 95 Red 4-0. In the third game they tied EFC Attack of Wichita, Kansas 1-1 with many debatable calls occurring in the game. In the finals the Bluebirds got a rematch with EFC Attack of Wichita, KS and beat them sharply 4-0. The Bluebirds scoring was led by Haley Hatcher with 8 goals, Samantha Mack with 4 goals, while Sarenity Gomez, Larkin Hatcher, and Payton Maurer all added goals as well. The Bluebirds defense was stingy throughout the tournament led by goalie Madison Lee, fullbacks Haley Filat, Kelsey Smith, and Rachel Rickenbach at the top of the diamond, and Megan Batek anchoring the defense at sweeper making one good decision after another throughout the tournament.
