The Mighty Bluebird Black team won the second tournament in as many tries this year when they beat Searcy Live Wire 12-0, they then beat LRFC White 10-0, then beat ASC Red Devils 9-0, then beat FC United 9-0 and in the finals beat LRFC 2-1. In the finals the Bluebirds had 28 shots compared to only four for LRFC, but despite having the ball on the defensive end LRFC got off to an early 1-0 lead when a foul was called about a foot outside the box and they converted a direct kick for a 1-0 score. The Bluebirds scored two goals in the second half, the first by Haley Hatcher and the second by Larkin Hatcher off of an assist from Leah Riner to win the game. Bluebirds had an excellent goalie playing the final from Annie Stafford, while fullbacks Kelsey Smith, Megan Batek, and Haley Filat played great defense. Olivia Caillouet handled the top of the diamond when Leah Riner, Haley Hatcher, and Larkin Hatcher contributing on both scores. The Bluebirds outscored their opponents 42-1 for the tournament.
