The Mighty Bluebird Black team stormed through the Huntsville Summer Classic tournament winning all four games without giving up a goal. The Bluebirds outscored their opponents 30 to 1. The defense of Joanna Bentley, Annie Sixbey, Elizabeth Freeman, Haley Filat, and Leah Riner was outstanding, not to mention the goalie play of Annie Stafford, Leah Riner, and first year goalie Madison Brooks. Several Bluebirds did the damage on scoring including forwards Macey Burr, Leah Riner, Larkin Hatcher, and Olivia Caillouet, all scored goals and Haley Hatcher was her normal, unstoppable self scoring hat tricks or more in all of the games. In the final against a team that everybody thought would give us a lot of trouble Haley took the opening tap and dribbled through every single player scoring in the first 15 seconds of the game. The rest was history as the Bluebirds won in the finals 7 to 0.
