The Mighty Bluebird Green U-11 Team and the Mighty Bluebird Black U-10 Team met in the Chevrolet President's Cup State Championship game. This was the first time ever that two teams from the same club had met in the state finals. The two teams agreed not to play and to call themselves Co-Champions. The Mighty Bluebird Green team made their way to the finals by beating Ft. Smith Express Blue 11-0, FC United Freedom 7-1, LRFC Blue 4-1, and Conway Lady Wildcats 8-1. The Mighty Bluebird Black team made their way to the finals by beating AR Thunder 8-0, FC United Spirit 10-1, LRFC White 9-0, and AR Comets 9-2. The Mighty Bluebird Green team was clearly the best U-11 team in the state of Arkansas and the Mighty Bluebird Black team was the best U-10 team in the state of Arkansas and proved that they can beat all the U-11 teams as well as they played up 1 year this year in the state tournament. If the two teams played each other it would have been a very close game and who knows who would have won, but the beauty was that we had two Bluebird teams in the finals.
